Moyer Named Director Of Marketing At Sonatech

Sonatech, Inc. of Goleta, Calif., recently announced that James R. Moyer has joined its staff as director of marketing.

Mr. Moyer brings with him over 25 years of experience in air, space, and marine navigation system design, operation, and marketing. His most recent position was director of marketing for JMR Instruments, Inc., where he participated in the design and marketing of high precision satellite positioning receivers. He also initiated the development activity which produced a product line of "distributed intelligence," multi-sensor, navigation systems. While at JMR, Mr. Moyer also held positions in engineering, test, and quality assurance.

At Sonatech, the world's leading producer of underwater acoustic positioning and navigation equipment, Mr. Moyer will be involved in broadening Sonatech's participation in commercial markets as well as supporting the current high volume of military and institutional sales.
